Mara has the most spectacular event of natural world: the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley renowned for its spectacular flamingo population. The lake is famed as one of the world’s greatest ornithological spectacles. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants. There are over 900 African elephants here.
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game-viewing, Dinner and overnight stay at Ol Moran Tented Camp
The Maasai Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to comprehend – indeed, over 450 species of animals have been recorded here! You will easily spot lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants.
It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.
Day 2: Maasai Mara – Full Day Game Drives
Full day in the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives.
You can also decide to take an optional hot air balloon ride (US$450 per person); you will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village (US$30 per person). All meals and overnight stay at your camp
Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Breakfast at the camp and later proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at your hotel in time for lunch. Relax at your accommodation after lunch till 1600hrs for a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your hotel

Lake Nakuru National Park is home to zebras, gazelles, Rothschild giraffe, impala, black and white rhino sanctuary and other large mammals.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast proceed to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. Spend afternoon at your own leisure and at 1600hrs leave for game viewing in the park. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp
Amboseli National Park, the second most popular animal park after Maasai Mara, is 260km (160 miles) from Nairobi, on the border with the neighboring country of Tanzania. Its magnificent situation at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro combined with its excellent opportunities to view Kenya’s animals, make it one of the most-visited safari parks in Kenya.
Day 5: Amboseli National Park – Full day game drives
Morning and evening game drives in Amboseli National Park with an optional tour to Maasai village to experience their traditional way of life and dances. You will have a chance to visit Observation Hill, which overlooks the park, swamps and, of course, the herds of free-roaming elephants. All meals and overnight your lodge
Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants. There are over 900 African elephants in Amboseli, as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals including giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas and antelope. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai people.
Day 6: Amboseli – Nairobi
After breakfast leave lodge for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped to your Nairobi hotel or at the airport for your flight back home. This marks the end of the safari full of unforgettable memories.
